Form a Database

Request a Demo

It might not be possible for all of them to pay visit and play. What you could do is turn up to their studio or an event and listen them play. With the growing competitiveness, there are wedding bands that circulate their CDs as a demo. Others upload their performance on their website.

Book in Advance

With wedding ceremonies running all year, there might be chances that your favorite wedding band would not be available to you. Hence it is better to book them in advance and pay them a token to confirm their performance on your special day.

Prepare your Song list

Remember it is your day. You have to please yourself rather than pleasing others. You sung a karaoke while you were terribly drunk with your partner. You have your love song. You sing him or her song when you kiss. This is why you love each other. Never let anything ruin the song which runs in your relationship.

Sit together and write down all the songs you would want to be played by the wedding band. It could be simple light tuned jazz or heavy metal rock. Let everybody see how the chemistry between you two develops as the songs flow across the room.

Set a Chronology

Even though you choose songs as per your whims and wishes, it is better to put the wedding band on the creative section when it comes to setting a chronology. They understand the technicality of the tunes and play.

It is the wedding band who has seen more weddings than you have. The artists are trained to sense the environment and set the mood accordingly. Hence even if they have pre - set an order for the songs to be played, allow them the flexibility to be impromptu.
